SMASHING PUMPKINS

So this is Bravery, they opened for Smashing Pumpkins, they are really good and the main singer was insane and so fun to watch.

After a bizillion 1/2 an hours, SMASHING PUMPKINS came on stage, oh it was so amazing to see and hear them. Oh they sound even better live, they did a beautiful job. Here are some pictures Of them and also some movies of some of the songs they sung. enjoy cause i sure did!

Oh, It was soo unreal that i saw them and listened to them live, i still can't believe it. Steph and I almost missed it, but not really, we just completely got lost trying to find the bus stop and boarded the south one instead of the north one, then pn our way back we could not find our way out of the UVSC main buildings, for they were all connected in this big square, then we had to run across some streets but it was all worth it. yes, worth it...

now for some videos

Actual plants at BYU that deserve to be seen and noticed

here are the wonderful, beautiful, life saving ginko leaves. Aren't they just so breathtaking, and so cute!

this tree is also rad, look at the leaves they are all like that, it looks really cool in person!

this is part of a student made shrub thingy.
Last saturday Paul and I hiked the Y, it was so fun, a little step here and there, but fun. I thought there would be plant opportunities but nope, same old boring, dry plants there. One of the pictures down there was taken while i was standing on the actual white Y, the view was amazing, you could see all of provo, orem, timpanogas, and i;m pretty much more. The closeup picture on the city down below, is of BYUs campus.

I am now an Ant eater

My biol 100 teacher, Dr. Booth assigned us to an ant, for it will be the most purest form of formic acid that we can taste, so i did and filmed it. But we accidentally filmed it in sepia.

For Biol 100, we were assigned to watch a sunset
and describe our feelings towards it. Here is a picture of the sunset i watched Thursday evening. It was very cloudy and did not expect to really see the sun, but at those last moments when the sun is just about ready to make the final descent, its glory and brilliance burst through the clouds and shined down on the city below, one last victory before the mountain takes the sky again. No flashes of color like the sunsets back home, but it portrayed a sense of peace after a busy day in the blaze of heat.

The dying day attracted three deer though only two are seen here. Stephanie and I saw them in the bushes while sitting on a bench writing about the sunset. When they realized that we had spotted them they turned and walked down the hill, that is when I followed them (I took the stairs though not the bushes, you should have seen the huge nasty spider that lived in them) and that is when i took this picture.
Everybody around cried sounds of astonishment and whipped out their phones and started taking pictures, whereas i was like ehhh, seen them before, practically lived with them.
I am at BYU now, and it is completely different then NPA let alone Humboldt County. I am in my third week of classes, and I don't think I could love it any more. Despite this is college and high key, I feel like a weight of stress and pressure has been released. Theres no more expectations to fill but my own. Of course I realize that underneath everything there are from many people, but I hear it or see it, its nice that way. My actions are finally for myself now no one else, I choose what to do, what assignment to fulfill. But no worries, i am still trying in all my power to do my best in all my classes, not just one or the other, but all of them. This picture was taken right before the Education class during orientation. I came out of this room different then when I had walked in. So many things seemed so clear and meaningfull. I can't remember the last time I have felt so much excitement or determination in regards to my schooling and life. But with all this to say, there are still some let backs...Utah. I still can't believe that i am going to chool in Utah not to mention the plants here on campus. But this is for another entry for another time.
