Humboldt County...the Land I now call my Home

Arcata. I do love Arcata. I love the people and how they are always so freindly and nice. I love the comfort of walking through the plaza and knowing that everyone is accepted. It doesn't matter how you are dressed or how you fix your hair, all are welcomed and embraced. It sets a peaceful tone that is silent but felt.

School to a close

Finals came and went, which also means the end of Winter semester 2008, one year of college checked off! The end came quick, my room mate and I started packing long before needed, we had to unpack many times when realizing we still needed some things. Anyway, I survived the packing and moving out! The only tough thing to do was saying goodbye to friends and the summer ahead without them or thier laughter and smiles. Before any of us left, we took pictures around campus.

My ward had it's last party/get together last saturday (it was about 5 hours long!). The sun was high in the sky and extremely hot. Below are just some pictures of that event, most of my friends and I posing on the jungle jim. lol.

As most of you know Amber had her second child, Gracey Tita Marshall, this january. So this March I was able to come up to Idaho for Emma's Birthday and then again later for Gracey's baby blessing. So here are some pictures of the said events. P.S. the Marshalls now own Rock Band; warning: it's addicting!!!

The first picture is of Breanna and I holding up our cups of fake pee (sorry mom for the language), how about our fake excreatory waste (fluid wise), frankly i do not know if that color means too much water or not enough...
anyway, we created it with water and watercolor paints, purpose...well lets just say that my friends (breanna included) stole Josh's rubix cube but he never knew it was them. They created a facebook of the cube conquistadors, and so on. Well, i was gone through most of it, yet when i returned it was the time for the switch off, them give up the cube, josh give up cookies he had to make. I went with them, and we all laughed lal ala laala. well the cookies that josh made them (which i also ate) had a chemical thingy that makes certain fluids blue for a couple of days...so anywya, Breanna and I decided to create wake fliuds and placed them at Josh's door...he really thought it was real...anyway. yeah, pranks are fun to do around the dorms...
The second picture is me and breanna, steph, and someones head and back, we are at enrichment night, making cards to give someone on our floor, like a secret sister. anyway. yeah, those are the pictures i have right now of utah events. i might have more on my camera but the lazy side of me inhibits me form checking, so if i do i guess that means another post. enjoy.
